Coast Architecture and Design was started by architect Tony Valadez in Richmond, California in 2019. With a focus on adaptive reuse, renovations, interiors and single-family residences, Coast A/D offers a full range of professional architectural services.

Coast is about:

• Accessibility - great design should be accessible to more people. The simpler the better

• Architecture that responds to its regional climate

• Spaces that promote well-being and fun

Tony is a California-licensed architect practicing in Richmond, California. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Texas and Master of Architecture from Rice University in Houston. Tony’s professional focus has been on design and construction of adaptive reuse and interiors projects throughout the Bay Area.

Outside of architecture, Tony’s interests include music, art, food and cycling. He lives in a 40’s bungalow with his partner Lauren and their kid in Richmond, California.
